Entre las líneas de haz en operación, BL13-XALOC es una línea puntera de haz de rayos X dura dedicada a la difracción de macromoléculas, que también sirve a la comunidad de cristalografía de moléculas más pequeñas. ALBA está buscando un científico/a experimental con una sólida formación en cristalografía química y macromolecular de rayos X e instrumentación de sincrotrón para ocupar la posición de responsable de la línea del haz XALOC.

Leitat is looking for a person with experience in printed electronics, preferably with knowledge in printed photovoltaics, to executed funded European projects (H2020) and private offers. The position requires a high level of experimental skills to operate printing equipment and an analytical mindset for design and innovation experiments. Within the field of photovoltaics, experience in the characterization of printed devices is required, from the opto-electronic point of view as well as stability. Knowledge in integration of printed devices in different products and simulation and modelling of electronic devices will be valued. It requires: High level of English and ability to write technical reports.

Looking for a polymer chemist ideally with experience on NCA ROP in order to develop novel Polypeptide based carriers of different nature and topicity.
These materials will be used as carriers for biomacromolecules including Adeno Viral vectors (AVV), therefore experience in conjugation chemistry will be a valuable merit. Targeted drug delivery to specific sites (including Kidney, tumor microenvironment and/or selected cancer cell types) is the final goal for the rationally designed nanocarriers.

Postdoctoral Researcher in Phononic and Photonic Nanostructures at ICN2

Description

The position is connected to an EU-FET project in on Topological bosonics starting in January 2019 to develop the next generation of topological devices and architectures across which information can flow without losses. This conceptually simple yet technologically and fundamentally challenging requirement is crucial for the development of technologies in fields ranging from information processing to quantum communication and metrology. In each of these areas, the dissipation of information is a key hurdle that leads, for example, to unacceptable thermal loads or error rates. This project will harness topological protection in novel materials and nanoscopic structures to empower electrons, phonons and photons to flow with little or no dissipation and, ultimately, crosslink them within a hybrid platform. This will entail the design of novel topological photonic/phononic waveguides and the engineering of disruptive heterostructures elaborated from the combination of topological insulators and ferromagnetic materials.
