PhD in polymer science, biomaterials, chemistry, or closely related fields with strong experience in design, synthesis, characterization and use of polymers for biomedical applications. The successful candidates must have an established record of excellence in research in each specific area and are expected to develop internationally recognized, externally funded research programs that complement or extend the strengths of POLYMAT, build internal and external collaborations and mentor graduate students.
