Engineer specialized in manufacturing processes of components in composite materials. The desired candidate should have knowledge in advanced technologies for the processing of composite materials such as prepreg technologies, RTM, infusion, compression, preform, etc.

Perform structural, thermal and fluid-dynamics analysis using the program ANSYS-CFD.
Meet policies, procedures and rules established in the Area and dynamize the job.
Management and technical execution of projects / technical assistance / technological services in the different mandated phases. Punctually report to the Area Direction about the stage of those phases. Report ellaboration.
Colaborate with the direction of the area in the constant analysis of the latest technological advances, assisting to fairs, conferences, visiting other technological centers, companies and other defined sources of information.
Keep in touch with the client through the development of the project / technical assistance / technological service, detecting and generating new opportunities for the area and entity of the cliente. Propose ideas and project development to the area director.
Manage and capitalize the material means put at his/her disposal (maintenance, calibrations, etc...) complying quality, prevention and safety procedures.
Any other complementary activity needed to guarantee a good development for the Fundación ITMA.

REVOLVE addresses the rapidly growing need for performance and cost in emerging satellite missions focusing on new technologies and design methods for antenna and radio front-ends. Selected candidates from this process will receive a generous employment contract for 36 months with one of the consortium partners. All selected candidates will be expected to enrol in a doctoral programme commencing the academic year 2017-18 (ie. Start date in fall 2017) that is jointly supervised from academic and industrial advisors. We are offering a 1 year Laboratory technician position where the main tasks will be to support the researchers of the group. The main tasks of the job consist:
1. Laboratory work using different characterization techniques such as DSC/TGA, Laser flash, conductivimeter, dilatometer, densitometer, etc.
2. Taking care of the maintenance of the equipment.
3. Taking care of the laboratory needs.
4. Conduct some routine laboratory experiments to support the investigation of the group.

Main tasks:
Capture, defining, coordinating and executing of research projects in the field of polymers and composites.
Elaboration of National and European proposals (preparation of reports, search of partners, technical proposal planning, economic planning).
Project management (definition of the work plan, control of expenses, monitoring reports, reporting to clients and partners, as well as to the department manager).
Definition of needs of the Area of the polymers / composites.
