CETIM

CETIM is a private, non-profit R&D&I Centre, recognized as a Technological Centre by the Ministry of Science and Innovation with Registration number 129. Its mission is to develop research, technologies and innovation from its three Knowledge Areas: Advanced Materials (formulation, optimization and/or recycling of lignocellulosic materials, polymers and coatings, for construction, and for energy storage), ECO BIO Technologies (water treatment, obtaining biopolymers, recovery of CRMs, etc.) and Digital Industry (Digital Twins, Blockchain, IoT, etc.). Focusing on Technologies, it applies its expertise to different industrial and economic sectors: CETIM is a Multisectoral Technological Centre. CETIM is located in the Alvedro Business Park (A Coruña). Its facilities feature 8 laboratories (Chemistry, Bioprocesses, Microbiology, Electrochemistry and Batteries, Digital Industry, Construction, Polymers and Climatic Chambers) and areas for Pilot Plants.
